07/08/2020 Resumo I9ANational accounts statistics are compiled by the National Statistics Institute based on the United Nations System of National Accounts 1993.The country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is calculated on a quarterly and annual basis, both in terms of production (sum of gross added value of economic activity) and in terms of expenditure (sum of private and public consumption, public and private investment and exports minus the country's imports).Statistics are produced at current prices, chained prices and previous year’s prices, in million Cabo Verde escudos.
