External sector statistics include balance of payments (documents where transactions of real, financial and monetary assets carried out in the course of a quarter between residents and non-residents of an economy are systematically recorded) and international investment position (the balance of the economy’s foreign assets and liabilities, at the end of a quarter).

Statistics on migrants’ remittances and foreign trade are also provided.
