Consumer Support Office

The primary mission of Banco de Cabo Verde’s Consumer Support Office is to protect the legitimate rights, guarantees and interests of banking, insurance, and securities market consumers in the entire country.

Among several other duties, the Consumer Support Office receives consumer complaints related to operations, contracts, products and services in the banking sector, insurance sector or securities market which were negotiated, offered or provided within the country and have not yet been resolved by an arbitral, administrative or judicial authority.
 
The Consumer Support Office assists financial system clients at Banco de Cabo Verde’s headquarters, every Wednesday, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., by appointment, which can be scheduled through e-mail (gsc@bcv.cv) or by phone (2607000 - option 2).
